When my mom and I went to the Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY I saw a Fons & Porter quilt that I really really liked. The ladies in the museum laughed at me when I said I had no idea who Fons & Porter were :-).
Apparently they completed the quilt during a television series and explained each piece.I bought the book and as soon as I got home started working on it.
That was last summer, the top is still not complete - but I am proud to say as of 1/10/07 I only have 2 squares left to complete. 
I will add more pictures of the completed squares when I can.
